Installed mine last night. Replaced a Sony 850e that was 7 years old. Increased image brightness was my primary reason for buying as I have a very bright living room. The TCL does not dissapoint! The Dolby Vision picture setting is truly awesome. Scenes where the sun flashes by seemed blinding! For $700 really a fantastic value.
One note... my TV only came with 2 screws in the back, not 4!! So if you are replacing an existing TV, don't be surprised if you have to make a trip to the hardware store. I would reuse the screws that came out of my Sony TV but they were too short.. the 65" requires M4x16 screws.
Agreed on the screws, and the two that come with it aren't really meant for a mount.
While m4x30 screws work fine for the top holes, the manual is incorrect on recommending m4x20 for the lower screws - it bottoms out way to early. M4x16 or x12 seemed to be ideal.
10 year old Vizio TV just stopped working today! So in the market for a new one. Looking for a 65" TV
Any thoughts on this vs the LG QNED in Costco for the same price? https://www.costco.com/lg-65-clas...78907.html

The TCL is FAR superior in every way. Better picture quality, MUCH better HDR, MUCH higher brightness, much better colors, etc. That LG is a low-end budget TV, while the TCL has image quality comparable to high-end TVs.
this comes with 5 year warranty and 50$ Google Play credit , so will be about 100$ cheaper than the TCL with the same 5 year warranty (which I would take if I get the TCL)
