No actually read the product nutrition. 1200mg is irrelevant. 360mg is the actual omega 3. You're very smart in this lol

I stopped reading at "Some plants are rich in another type of omega-3 fatty acid, alpha-linolenic acid, which the body can convert to DHA and EPA"

It's well documented and proven that the body can only convert 1-5% of ala to dha/epa

That article is a joke

I take fish oil as recommended by dr to help cholesterol (help increase HDL and decrease LDLs I think?) and it worked, been several years, and yeah lots of trickery with different brands on what they actually contain (and that changes over time). For the last year or two these are the best I know of for the $: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C8XBCWD5/ , where unlike this Nature's bounty deal, they tell you the amounts per type of Omega 3s, etc. They do the thing where they say 2400mg on the bottle, but that is PER SERVING, which is 2 pills, but even so, the ones I use look to have a bit much than twice as much of the Omega 3s. Also, these go on sale alot, I normally try and pay like $11 per bottle of 120 which happens maybe every couple of months?

Not only that bur some people are genetically inefficient or unable to convert even that small amount of ALA. If you want Omega-3, fish and krill oil make it much more bioavailable than any plant source.

lol…CNN…don't take the fish oil but make sure you get 10+ injections of this experimental vaccine…
What a moronic comment. As a medical provider and researcher, it's ignorant people like you that makes our job an uphill battle in Public Health. Not only do you practice misinformation, but selfishly spread it too.

Anyone more intelligent and responsible would go to the source material. You don't like CNN, fine. Then go to the cited source, which CNN responsibly provides. But I don't expect you to have the interest or intelligence to do that because you just prefer to wallow in ignorance, conspiracies and victimhood. Oh poor baby, CNN is being mean to you...

2024 Study: Fish oil supplements may raise risk of stroke, heart issues

For people without heart issues, regular use of fish oil supplements was associated with a 13% higher risk of developing atrial fibrillation and a 5% heightened risk of having a stroke, according to the study, published Tuesday in the

I think it's worth adding that the study (which was actually very large and prospective; good things) indeed found an increased risk of A fib and stroke but a decreased risk of heart attack and death. I'm sure you can find plenty of speculation about why but those are the facts.

For me it's not enough by a wide shot to stop taking fish oil but still worth keeping an eye on I guess.

My take was that it depends on who's taking it. If you're in perfectly good health, it may be of concern?

Also, people are treating this as a CNN thing.
CNN doesn't do medical studies, they just report on them, and the study was legit.
