I don't know why I'm responding but it sounds like this deal isn't for you, and that's OK. No reason the thread crap. Some people DO ride their bikes a lot, and in places with lots of rocks, roots, jumps, drops, and technical terrain. No doubt, it's an expensive sport, but riding this type of terrain requires these kinds of bikes. Whether or not they are overpriced is up for discussion, but this is a decent deal based on market value for full suspension mountain bikes.
thanks for the post! IMO the only thing your post could make more clear at a quick glance is that other sizes are also on sale than just large or medium of those 3 bikes.Maybe make the link to the full sale have a more descriptive and visible title than "here"
Anybody who takes mountain biking seriously shouldn't be looking at spending less than $1,000. These YT bikes are a killer deal which is a far cry from a few years ago.

Whats with all these bikes on SD that cost as much as a used car? What happened to the mid segment $300-800 range?
That's been gone for many, many years. There are bikes in that range but they're pretty low end. Nobody should be buying and riding any full suspension in that price range, that's for sure.

Unless you are specifically looking for something short travel or have a firm $2k budget I don't see any reason not to spend the extra $200 bucks on the Jeffsy over the Izzo.

Not all can afford or spend or want to spend thousands of dollars on a bicycle. $100 is the max I would spend especially because I dont bike a lot and its not worth for me.

Sure you can be rich and bike a whole lot - but to say nobody should be buying that unless you hand out christmas presents to them, people cannot buy bikes worth $2000-$3000.

Plus i think this jackflation disease is such that everyone is just making everything expensive so people think its of great value.

You misunderstood my comment and I'm not going to put in more effort. If you have $100, buy the best used bike on Craiglist you can find.

If you want to only spend $100 on a bike you barely use, you can go into Walmart and buy a Huffy any day of the week. No need to complain on a deal on much nicer bikes.

These bikes are for serious off-roading and there is no comparing them. If you spend $400 on an Ozark Trail you can get a passable spring front suspension MTB with a 1x9 400% gearing range and mechanical disc brakes for light off-roading, but it will not be safe to use on serious trails.

Proper mountain bikes have a lot of bells and whistles, in the $1000-2000 range you can expect hydraulic brakes, an x11 or x12 drivetrain with 500% gearing range, a dropper post, and actual air shocks. Above that you start getting a carbon or titanium frame/fork, electronic shifting, etc, but also diminishing returns as the markups get higher.

What bike would you recommend in the $400-500 range for city riding and to attach a seat for a toddler? I'm in Maryland, so lots of potholes and uneven sidewalks.

Not the place for soliciting cheap city bike info. There are plenty of pages for that.

There are plenty at your local Walmart, Target, Dick's, and Academy.
