Bought this lens back in 2020 and HIGHLY recommend it. I have it paired with their 28-75 and it makes a great combo. What's also nice is the filter ring on both is the same.

My kids and their cousins do a variety of sports and performing arts, and this lens is PERFECT. Great range, speed, size, and image quality. I think it's even better on APS-C than FF due to the reach advantage (assuming 24MP sensors in both cases...of course with one of the higher-res FF bodies the reach difference will be mostly mitigated). I use mine on an a6600.
