Also, it might be possible to utilize the Easy Rewards Offer to get $15 in points (i.e., 3000 points) with your $60 in-store purchase.
  1. Starting Sunday, Sept 1, go into your account and ACTIVATE the offer BEFORE going to Staples.
  2. Go to Staples and buy 3 AirTags for $57 (you may want to check online for store availability before driving over).
  3. Buy $3 of filler items to bring subtotal to at least $60. Note that 3 x $0.99 items won't work because then the total would only be $59.97.
  4. Go check out and the 3000 points should show up in your account. Remember to NOT use any reward points to pay for the purchase because you need to spend $60 (in cash or credit) for the offer.

The $15 in points on $60 purchase is on the front of the weekly ad (for 9/1-7). The airtags pricing ($19 for one, $89 for 4) is on page 6 of the weekly ad.

Bought 2x airtags in store today for $19 each. The 10o30 coupon I got for recycling tech did not work since Apple is excluded. I was not interested in the 15 back on 60, since I paid for the airtags with rewards, and those don't work for that promo.

Did this earlier. Bought 3 AirTags and a pack of rubber bands for $3.99 for a total of $60.99 before taxes. Worked perfectly. Points were in my account before I left the store.

If anyone has the $10 Chase Sapphire credit to use on Door Dash, it is also $19 on DD app. Just need to add $1 filler to meet min. spend for Dashpass. Total for me was $16 w/ tip & fees included and I didn't even need to visit Staples.

If you ever short a few cents you can ask them for paper shopping bag and make sure they ring it up for 5 cents or 2 shoppings back if you needed 10 cents etc…

Just to add some context, I think this comment only applies to states/municipalities that charge a bag fee. According to World Economic Forum [weforum.org], as of 2021, at least 12 states (and 100s of municipalities in 28 states) do this.
