Thanks, I got them both now in 4K. I had HDX already. When that's the case you have to gift the movie to yourself on iTunes. It should be a bit more straight forward. There is no upgrade option and referral on Movies Anywhere either for this situation (i.e., you own it but want to upgrade).

And if you feed them after midnight bad things happen. Wonder why daylight savings time, seasons, and timezones do not affect this behavior.
