I am somewhat torn on buying a pair of Canvas Freerider Pros. The price is hard to beat and the rubber is what you pay for on these. But the canvas uppers are notably not as durable as their other upper materials But for $40 something ...

The Freerider Pro's work well for my 9.5 4E foot. That said, I did order a half size up and have to keep the bottom of the shoe (toe box) on the loose side to prevent numbness. Let's just say that after about 500 miles of trail riding in my current pair, I rarely notice them on my feet. In fact, I just ordered another pair!

I demo'd a pair of Freerider Pros last weekend. I usually wear size 10 or 10.5 in other shoe brands. The size 10.5s were a little narrow on my wide feet, but the size 11s were pretty comfy even without adjusting the lacing. The rep said that the pros are a little narrower than the non pros.

The pair of Freeriders (non pro) size 10.5 that I'd ordered a few days before the weekend arrived on Monday, and they do fit really well. Noticeably wider than the pros, even with the correct length for my foot! I'm sure adjusting the lacing pattern will help even more.

FYI I've also tried Crank Brothers MTB shoes, and they are not great for wider feet.

Same here. I compared the insole to my regular shoes, and it looks like a full size down on the higher end(I'm sz 13). You'll notice all the 14 and 15's are sold out in the pros. It ain't cause clown shoes are in style.

Freerider or freerider canvas are widish for the length, theyre very good for slightly wide but not quite EE feet.
