K2 is not safe if you got HBP, also risking blood clot. So very high risk of stroke.

Excuse me what? Do you have literature to back this statement up? I've worked in medicine for over a decade and never heard of isolated cholecalciferol increasing risk of thrombosis.

The coupon also works for the 1000IUI bottle, which is a healthier daily dose!

I remember reading somewhere that using D3 without K is pretty useless, so it's better to buy a combo part

The healthiest daily dose would be the one that puts you into the healthy D3 level range, which for most people is probably more like 10,000iu daily
Where do you get this 10,000iu daily information from?!

That seems high. Most of the literature I've read says the max should be 4000IU for those that aren't deficient. Most doctors probably would recommend 1000-2000 for those who are not deficient in my experience.

Source? I thought it was the opposite that K2 helps keep arteries from calcium buildup?

some sources claim that supplementing with vitamin D is harmful if you are low in vitamin K. That's all I know but would be curious as well since there is definitely a large movement of people now taking K with D3.

Can I buy K2 supplement separately and take it along with D3? Or it should be in the same capsule?
Either way, there are multiple forms of K2 but the main ones people talk about are Mk-4 and mk-7. I believe 7 is better absorbed but people sometimes have more side effects to it vs 4? You can also get vitamin K from food including the Mk7 form. Natto likely has the highest concentration and some people use greens to gain more K2. Personally I would recommend sunlight + foods with D (such as mackerel) and K2 (natto) over any of these supplements assuming you can get enough of and tolerate both wherever you live.

Never buy vitamin D alone, always buy vitamin D with K2. In case you care about you're heath and you don't wanna have heart attack
I'm really curious why you think that is the case. I've looked for the scientific evidence on this and haen't found it even though there is a lot of talk on social media about it. I've seen two trials so far and at best it's still a hypothesis.

Amazon identifies your account and if your constantly applying promos from your account they will not show all the discounts because they are looking to get new buyers and not old customers looking for the bottom dollars deals anymore.

not sure why people arguing here. just ask Chatgpt and you get your answer.

Taking Vitamin D3 without Vitamin K2 is not necessarily useless, but there are some considerations to keep in mind regarding their combined benefits:

Benefits of Vitamin D3
Bone Health: Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium, which is essential for strong bones.
Immune Function: It plays a role in enhancing the pathogen-fighting effects of monocytes and macrophages — white blood cells that are important parts of your immune defense.
Benefits of Vitamin K2
Calcium Utilization: Vitamin K2 helps direct calcium to the bones and teeth where it is needed, and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be harmful.
Bone and Cardiovascular Health: It works synergistically with Vitamin D3 to improve bone density and cardiovascular health.
Combined Benefits
Synergy: When taken together, Vitamin D3 and K2 can work synergistically to optimize calcium metabolism and improve bone and cardiovascular health.
Considerations
Calcium Supplementation: If you are taking calcium supplements along with Vitamin D3, adding Vitamin K2 might be beneficial to ensure the calcium is properly utilized.
Diet: If your diet is low in Vitamin K2 (found in foods like natto, certain cheeses, and fermented foods), supplementation might be more important.
Conclusion
While Vitamin D3 has its own benefits, combining it with Vitamin K2 can enhance its effectiveness, especially in terms of bone and cardiovascular health. However, Vitamin D3 alone is not useless and still provides significant health benefits.

Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure it is appropriate for your individual health needs.

The relationship between Vitamin D3 supplementation and heart health is complex and not fully understood. There is some evidence suggesting that taking Vitamin D3 without Vitamin K2 might pose certain risks, but more research is needed to draw definitive conclusions.

Potential Risks of Taking Vitamin D3 Alone
Calcium Deposition: Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption from the gut. Without adequate Vitamin K2, there is a potential risk that the calcium could be deposited in the arteries instead of the bones, leading to vascular calcification and potentially increasing the risk of cardiovascular issues.
Imbalance: High doses of Vitamin D3 without corresponding levels of Vitamin K2 might create an imbalance in calcium metabolism, which could contribute to arterial stiffness and other cardiovascular problems.
Research Findings
Mixed Results: Some studies have shown an association between high levels of Vitamin D and increased risk of cardiovascular events, while others have not found such a link. The inconsistency in findings suggests that other factors, such as baseline Vitamin D levels, dosage, and individual health status, play a significant role.
Synergistic Effect: Research indicates that Vitamin K2 helps to regulate calcium in the body by activating proteins that direct calcium to the bones and away from the arteries. This suggests that taking Vitamin K2 along with Vitamin D3 could mitigate some of the potential risks associated with Vitamin D3 supplementation alone.
Recommendations
Consult Healthcare Providers: Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you have existing health conditions or are taking other medications.
Balanced Supplementation: If you decide to take Vitamin D3 supplements, consider a formulation that includes Vitamin K2 to help ensure proper calcium utilization and support cardiovascular health.
Dietary Intake: Ensure your diet includes sources of both vitamins, such as fatty fish and fortified foods for Vitamin D3, and fermented foods and certain cheeses for Vitamin K2.
Conclusion
While there is some concern that taking Vitamin D3 alone could potentially increase the risk of heart issues due to improper calcium metabolism, the evidence is not conclusive. Including Vitamin K2 in your supplementation routine may help mitigate these risks and support overall cardiovascular health. Always seek professional medical advice tailored to your specific health needs.
