Different style. Handle less for crowded or smaller area applications. It probably has grooves around the door for grabbing onto.

The handle broke off of my refrigerator back in 2016. A new handle was $50. I ordered it and was told why because we can still open it. I cancelled the order.

The handle of my 1995 fridge is still as new. That just shows you that today they make appliances from shit and sticks..

I have a counter top about 30 inches in front of my fridge. How can I figure out the door clearance needed with any given refrigerator? I can find info about the required distance to the wall, but nothing about how much room is needed for opening the fridge door.

You'd just add the width of the fridge to the depth for total clearance needed from the wall to the counter with door open. The width is 27.87" so you should be ok if the counter is gonna theoretically be 30" in front of or from the fridge. Even if fridge width is up to 30" you'll be ok because there's some overlap of the fridge door thickness in the depth + width calculation. Not sure if skipped out on middle school geometry or something...

Look. I'm just gonna give you a heads up. I purchased a brand new Frigidaire fridge from Home Depot. On 9/11. The freezer gets as high as 16 degrees on max. Company refused to replace instead sent out repair man. Who said that's normal. Bacteria grows in anything above 0 degrees in the freezer. Home Depot only gives you 48 hours to replace or refund. That's not enough time to use fridge and determine if it's working properly. I will never purchase anything from Frigidaire or Electrolux. Customer service is really bad. Just check there X account. If you do purchase. I wish you the best luck.

I wish this was true. Can you send me a link that explains this cause home Depot said 48 hours. Then I need to go with manufacturer. But I hope your right.

I'm still trying to find out with hd for the Frigidaire fridge I purchased. But online it says 48 hours for major appliances. This is not long enough to be sure it's a problem with the fridge especially since it turns off and gets the freezer to 20 degrees.
