There is nothing else on the market at this price that will provide you with this many features to make a really good espresso.
I've had mine since 2022. I also have a Bambino for the office.
Bambino has no gauge and no PID for temp adjustment
Temp adjustment helps with extraction for medium to light roast coffee. ( Needs higher temp)
Having a gauge you can adjust the over pressure valve to reduce max pump pressure delivering a cleaner espresso. If you do the dimmer switch hack you can also use the gauge to play with variable pressure profiles.
Startup to heat time is a wash as both are relatively fast differing by less than a minute.
The group head on the infuser is heated which reduces cooling effect if you lock your portafilter in place while warming up. This is another variable that leads to more consistent espresso.
Infuser pre infusion is also more adjustable than the Bambino. Bambino is Max 10 seconds, while with the infuser you can go as long as you want in manual mode.
The last reason to get the infuser is it's overall size and weight. It still has a relatively small footprint, but when inserting the portafilter, having the extra size and weight is better. On the Bambino you gotta hold the top of the machine to snug the filter or else you'll lift the entire thing.
If you're thinking about getting into the rabbit hole of espresso coffee, this is a no brainer deal.

If you can hold out until the Bambino Plus goes on sale again, that's probably the best bang for your buck.

The Infuser has more precise temperature control, but weaker steaming power. If you consume more milk-based drinks, then the Bambino/Bambino Plus would be a better fit. However, if you prefer to drink straight espresso and dabble in specialty coffee that may require experimenting with temperature, the Infuser is the better option.
I like really hot and dark intense espresso. Which one would be best in that case?
Any ones in your opinion for that and also are automatic options?
