At this time, 7800xt is the card to beat under $500 and the next step up to 7900xt adds significantly to the price (additional $300+). I'd argue that timing is bad to spend over $500 right now, since next gen cards will be released probably January 2025, so if you truly want to spend top dollar for top end, then wait for the new releases.

This Merc version of xfx is a premium card with 3 year warranty, and worth the extra $30 or so over bottom of the line 7800xt's. The only higher tier version then this would be the xfx quicksilver magnetic air, which is only available on 7800xt and 7900 cards. That also has 3 yr warranty, premium components, but adds an upgraded cooler and thermal pads.

Don't get caught into the "must have the best" card. This will play any modern title very well. Tons of people are gaming with much lower cards, and are still rocking 3060, 4060, rx780, 5600, 5700, and similar.
