lol the first reviewer said he got it for $70 a pair. This proved Amazon prime day is a scam. Over inflated price and put a sale tag that. Use camel to find price history in any Amazon product before making the purchase.

Generally speaking these measure fairly poorly but I'd suppose that for the intended buyer and for some light background content or better then built in TV speakers, they are good enough. But so would be a lot of other options.
They would do fine for more hifi/hobbiest oriented budget buyers as HT rears or similar. Not mains.

If anyone wants passives near this price, but does want some performance for occasional 'dedicated' listening, check out the Polk XT15 set when on sale, or the Monoprice B5s for $120pr right now. Maybe the Sony SSCS5s. I 'd consider the local used market as well. $100 doesn't buy much brand new if the intention goes at all beyond just wanting some sound.

If you just want sound do some Edifers and skip amps.

How's this deal vs Klipsch R-41M? Not a big audiophile but yes love clean undistorted sound
