It's a great price. Keep in mind the switch is the worst of the consoles graphically.

This game plays soo terrible for the switch, frame drops marathon, not worth getting it for the switch, PS5 or XBOX Series..

I actually think it plays pretty well as a handheld sports title. It's not something I'd want on my TV. Graphics look like a late PS3 MLB game. Performance is pretty good, but does have some dips.

I really enjoyed 2023 on Switch (or was it 2022?). Road to the show was ridiculous. I could not get called up. After 3 or 4 seasons as a two way player I was mashing and pitching at beyond historic numbers. Switched to fielding and mashed way over Bonds at his roid peak. Never got the call. Nuts to that.

I got the MLB The Show 23 deal here for Switch and honestly it was better than I expected. It runs like a PS3 The Show, but I've been playing so long that it wasn't hard to get used to. Handheld is a mess, though.

Sorry this made me lol. I've played RTTS probably a dozen times over the years and never had this problem. I think your game was glitched, haha.

I have it on Gamepass (Series S and X) as well as Switch. They did a really good job of making it work at lower frame rates. For anyone who only has a switch and likes baseball, or really wants baseball on the go, it's a good pickup.

I thought I got last years game for like $5-8.

Is this as good as the Xbox and PlayStation versions? No. Has it been free on those platforms? Yes.

Is is still an extremely fun game? YES. Is this MLB that you can play in handheld and on the go? HELL YES.

I got this for free on PS+ for PS4 and let me tell you, it's shit. I don't want it to be shit, but there is little to no joy in this title. I upgraded from '19, which is the last time they put one on PS+, and the differences are minimal. In some cases, unbelievably, they've taken a big step backwards, like in Road to the Show.

It's based on your player's overall rating. Once it passes the next level's rating, you'll get promoted.

For example, if you're a left fielder in AA and your player is rated 78 and the left fielder on your AAA is 82, once your players attributes make your player 83, you'll get promoted to AAA
