Wow that's a beautiful case. Wish it had the 5.25" in the bottom but damn it's tempting.

lol. Its talking about the RGB controller that you plug into a motherboard. So no motherboard. That would be a very silly thing to add to this.

Just a warning. This case looks nice. But that 1-2 inch gap around the front is the only air flow. This case is purely aesthetics but it's basically a hot box. So whatever computer you put in here better not be a hot running system.

I have this exact case and put a 7800x3d in it. My max temp while running games is 71C. And I use air cooling. I did add 3 more fans to it, 2 on top and one in the back.

In all fairness, the 7800x3d is probably one of the best gaming CPUs in the world and temperature control is excellent.

You can just mount the fans behind the metal instead of infront of the metal. This would give you an extra inch of intake pressure for the front while still keeping the look roughly the same. The only downside to this would be the max GPU length drops to 300mm instead of 330mm.

I have a similarly designed case albeit much cheaper no name brand. My solution is to get rid of the glass front and use a mesh cover. dropped 3080 temp by 25C and 5900x by 12C.

I have a different thermaltake with the same fron design. You are right, air only gets intake from the front thru the sides. I run a top mount water cooler and mine has been fine so far with 5800x. Its pretty quiet too.

May I ask where you sourced/purchased your mesh?

Oh. I'm currently in Asia so aliexpress. Since it's non-essential one can wait a bit for shipping. The mesh I got is just plastic with some thin magnetic strips around to stick to the metal case. Measure the size that you need and find an appropriate one.

just an example: Magnetic Frame Dust Filter Dustproof Mesh https://a.aliexpress.com/_ExO6bXP
