American Airlines offers Select Round Trip Airfares travelling from New York (JFK) to Nagoya Japan (NGO) for prices from $861 - $887 with a 1-stop layover in Tokyo both ways.

Note: Select flights may be operated by Japan Air Lines depending on the flight you choose. These are basic economy fares that allow a personal item and a carry-on bag. There is no seat selection and no change. If you are travelling with children on American, you will be seated together as per AA's policy.

Yep. Took the AA this summer on the old 777-200 to HND. It was awful, plane was dated, seat was tight, barely any service and the food sucked. Not sure the new 787 any better. Definitely take ANA or JAL if you can.
