This laptop pairs a strong mid-range CPU and thunderbolt 4 USB-c port with adequate everything else. If you can live with the screen and 8GB of RAM then it's a great deal on this laptop.

review: https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/len...5i-14-2023
Pros:
  • CPU: good balance of power and energy efficiency.
  • Battery: 10+ hours of battery life for common office tasks.
  • Ports: HDMI & USB-C (DP), 2 x USB-A 3.2
Cons:
  • Older intel Iris integrated graphics.
  • 8GB of Soldered DDR4 RAM (no upgrades)
  • Screen is 60Hz and 45% color coverage. Brightness is OK at 300 nits.
For the price, you will get good value if you want a portable laptop with good battery life for office/productivity/streaming purposes. This sits a little under the Lenovo Yoga series for performance and build quality but at half the price of a yoga laptop it becomes a slick deal.

People with graphics oriented workloads or who want to play newer games at higher frame rates should look for something else, but if you want a laptop for school, office work or streaming shows and you can live with the 8GB of RAM this laptop should work just fine for you.

with that 8Gb RAM, maybe go for the i3 version, it's cheaper, and likely the ram will still be a bottleneck before the CPU.

Is there any way to upgrade a soldered RAM?
