Update: I ordered this and it came in today, it came with everything the description stated. The only thing is that mine came in the color white. I don't know if I missed a color choice option or they just choose a color. just letting you know if that is a deal breaker or not.

I've had a SodaStream in the past and currently have the DrinkMate. I far prefer the DrinkMate. You can carbonate pretty much any liquid you want in it without worrying about fizz & foam going everywhere.
With SodaStream you have to carbonate plain water and then add whatever flavoring you want. After the first time, I learned to do it over the sink so that the foam that almost immediately appears and overflows the bottle goes into the sink rather than on the counter & floors.
With DrinkMate, you put whatever liquid you want into the bottle. If it's going to be water with some flavor/syrup added, add it now. Put the cap on, carbonate to whatever level you like, then remove the bottle. Flip up the main lever to let it slowly release the excess CO2 on its own with minimal foam. If it's going to slowly for you then press the little button underneath the lever to release it faster, but don't just hold it down unless you want a foam explosion like with SodaStream.
Oh, other benefit with DrinkMate. Did you have something that went flat and want to recarbonate it? You can with DrinkMate, not really an option with SodaStream unless you want a mess all over your counter.
