Staff is shilling for GMKtec like they do for ace. GMKtec and ace are lower level manufacturers and thats why they have to pay shills. This isn't even a deal. You are better off getting a better beelink ser5 for cheaper.

Stay away.

GMKtec refuses to handle fan noise.

This and the K8 from them are some of the loudest miniPCs on the market today.

Testing of them has been reliable, but the fans never fricking stop cranking up

I debated this also. The specs on this are really good for the price but the trade-off is that you're dealing with a questionable company versus less RAM/storage with Apple. If you are planning on leaving this on 24/7, the Mac Mini is probably more reliable. I'm a Windows person, and I'm choosing the base M4 Mac Mini with an EDU discount for $499.
