These are good bass amps, they are just heavy when compared to a Fender Rumble.

Can someone help with the use case on these? Could the 50w work for practicing with electric guitar and drums? I've only ever used 100w+ bass amps, though I've sold them all, and now I'm looking to get a bass amp again…preferably one that can keep up with playing rock.

No, I don't think these would have enough power to hang with a live drummer. I had the 100w of the same type and it wasn't very loud.
