"This item is a final sale and non-refundable due to the exceptional discount offered. We are unable to accommodate returns or exchanges for this purchase."
But then the components they list aren't what's shown in the pictures and also don't match the description. So it ends up feeling like a big roll of the dice with $2500-5000. Maybe you'll get SRAM maybe you'll get Shimano.
The Costco Intense bikes feel like an easier bet, albeit with less options, because at least you've got a pathway to resolution if something doesn't match your expectations (or their specific marketing/ images/ descriptions)

As for the bike itself, it's an Excellent bike and value in the Expert build. IMHO it's a better value than the $1999 951 version from last week. You get better drivetrain, wheels, lighter fork, better brakes. The Pro build isn't worth the price tag though. Better bikes you can get for $4800.

The Sniper T Expert build is very good with a full GX drivetrain and better hoops on the wheels than the 951 deal last week. The extra 20mm of travel makes this more of an all around bike too.

not a good assumption
Hope I'm not dissuading anyone from buying an Intense bike.
If I were you I'd contact Intense and ask them why it's not working, and if they can place an order for you with the discount.
FYI if you have a chase freedom card, make sure to use that to get an extra 5% off through paypal.
