I'm on the hunt for a new laptop and I'm torn between the Lenovo Thinkpad P16S AMD Gen 2 Mobile Workstation (AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840 U, 64 GB/1TB, 4K display, price $1089) and the mentioned one (ASUS). Can you shed some light on these two laptops for me? I'd really appreciate any insights you can share.

For those interested in this laptop I do recommend checking it out in person in store. I almost ordered it until I went to BB to check out the screen and I found the overall build quality lacking.

If you are not using any application or development works which can benefit from dedicated GPU, getting an laptop with dedicated GPU won't serve any purpose apart from being a battery drainer.
