Is this a good camera to mount on bike helmet for recording any trail incidents? I want to be able to record in case I get into an accident with other bikers or bit by a dog or assaulted by people who don't want to make way. Thank you!

Bicyclists should have front and rear-facing cameras. You can find cheap 50 accessory GoPro kits on Amazon. Look for a kit that has a handlebar, helmet, seat post, chest, and backpack mounts. Order the largest storage and fastest available microSD memory card that is compatible with the camera. Turn on the voice commands to start video recording. You should also get microphone anti wind shield for clear audio from altercations.

does it have a hdmi out? so i can use it for webcam purposes or for livestreaming?

If you can swing the extra $20, I would get the dji action 4 camera kit from costco for $200. It's a better camera overall.

No GoPro frame for it or 3D files that I could find. Would be a nice upgrade for my backgammon club from our Hero 3 Silver.

Does not come with built-in stabilization. Software has to do it afterwards with the Quik App or your encoder of choice.

Sounds like you just want a 360 camera at that point tbh

Something to consider - helmet mounts will concentrate impact force of the camera into one spot rather than spread throughout the helmet

No. If you want HDMI out from any GoPro newer than the 7, you need a model specific "Media Mod" and they don't make one for the Hero4k or 11mini

I hate to tell you but you can do a lot better for 180. The footage from this one looks terrible, and I own three GoPros. I suggest a GoPro Hero 8 over this. You can probably find one for cheaper than that, but you could even go used for MUCH cheaper
