Slimfit3 LX is 3inch less in width and only available in Katrina. The slim profile is what makes it so expensive, for whatever reason.

SlimFit3 LX is the extra narrow designed to 3-across seats in the 2nd row. The SlimFit 3-in-1 is designed to be slimmer than a "classic" seat, whatever that really means, with the intention of allowing a little more room in the middle bench seat area.

The Amazon listing that is linked confusingly includes both SlimFit variants. The $140 listings are the regular SlimFit model, which is usually what you see go on sale at a variety of retailers and $140-$150 is a normal sale price. The SlimFit3 LX in this Amazon listing is only in the Katrina pattern and is showing $259.99 for me. It is currently available directly from Graco for 30% less:

We have this car seat and it works fantastic. It's one of the only premium narrow seats. Which works great for us in our RV camper van jump seats, which have very limited room.
