All of the oral B toothbrushes die or begin to fall apart after a couple of years.
Performance wise, nothing that this has over the ones you can get for $30-40 right now. Go with one of those instead.

We will see. My last Oral B Toothbrush I've owned since 2009 from Costco. It was a 2 pack and in 2020 the rubber grip started to wear down. I got excellent use out of it. This one clearly has way more moving parts that could fail but most lcd technology is rated to last 20 years so your comment sounds like FUD for no apparent reason than you believe the $40 brush is a better value. I will agree that if you just want a competent brush, you can have an egg timer or Tatama timer do a 2 minute countdown. But... there's a high level of convenience you pay for.

The Sonicare brushes also crap out in short order. You can't trust these brands anymore. You might as well buy cheap Chinese knockoffs.
