Tuft and Needle mattress was our first newlywed mattress years ago. We've upgraded a size and swapped mattresses over the past decade or so. (Trying 4 different mattresses total)
The tuft and needle remains the coolest bed I've slept on ever. I was plenty comfortable on it; it gave my partner back pain. But we both agree we did not sleep hot on that thing. I'd recommend this for hot sleepers.

Actually looks like it's today. 480 after taxes for me. Solid deal.
Bought a Full and a Twin. Seems like a great deal, I hope we sleep well on them...

Thanks!

Completely destroyed my back after 5 years. Rotated it every 6 months and their customer service is a nightmare. If you call their contact number no options to do any warranty claims just gives you options to order and check order. Still waiting for warranty claim and got an auto message saying they get a lot of inquiries during the holidays blah blah blah. I do not recommend this bed at all. You have been warned!

A couple of years ago, I bought a memory foam mattress. As a healthy, young, athletic man, I had never experienced back pain before. However, after just a few months of sleeping on that mattress, I started developing back pain for the first time in my life.

After giving it a lot of thought and doing extensive research, I realized that the problem might be the mattress itself. So, I decided to switch to a spring mattress to see if it would make a difference. Once I started using the spring mattress, the back pain completely disappeared.

From this experience, I always advise people to avoid buying memory foam mattresses. In my opinion, they are a poor investment for your health, and opting for a well-designed spring mattress can save you from unnecessary discomfort.

Is 9.5" considered good enough for an adult (145lbs)? I've seen mattresses range 6-12" but I have no idea what's decent.

I've been sleeping on a 4" foam mattress for the last decade and zero back pain. I'd like to move into something with a little more bounce for bedroom activities, but I don't want to lose the firmness that I really feel has kept my back in good shape all these years.

Can you return mattresses to Costco?

Yea buddy! They'll have people come pick up and everything. Definitely worth trying if you're on the fence.

Try the purple mattress. Those are firm and bouncy.
