I bought this for work in hopes that I can also sit on it. Sad to say, the lid cracked under my skinny ass. 145lbs. Also it's not really water resistance, it can only handle light misting
Pelicans are not air tight or water tight. But now we have discovered, not butt supportive. Lol

Really? I'm 200 lbs and mine hasn't broken yet. I bring this as a carry on a lot of times when I go camping and use it as a chair. I usually have stuff in the top though so it's not empty

Im 253lbs and I've sat on mine plenty of times. Usually empty top too. Never cracked in the almost 2 years now.

it is the light blue one, so that might be the reason.🤣

Pretty happy with my blue one, 14qt is a tad small if you larger ice packs. Ordered two more for co-workers as it's great for a few beverages and keeping lunch cool. Compartment up top is great for storing utensils and a few snack bars.

I bought this two years back I believe on sale and I love it. It's small enough for a few bottles of water and some snacks. The latches are great and the upper lid area is great for holding keys and phones at the beach and music events. I used to think the beer opener was a gimmick but it came in handy for random friends needing to open theirs more than once. Money well spent to me!

220lbs here and I've sat on mine a number of times when camping or out 4 wheeling with no issues.

Great price and ordered another. Thanks OP

How much can this weigh when fully loaded?

It looks heavy enough empty.

I bought the blue one when it was posted here a while ago. The cooler is fairly small (think of the Igloo Playmate lunch coolers small. Also, even with the inner basket removed, you cannot stand a "normal" sized 12oz glass bottle upright in these as their push against the lid when you go to close them. I am able to close the lid as the pressure against the tops of the bottles isn't too bad but had there been just 1/4" more space between bottom and the lid bottles would stand up.
Eventually this cooler was relegated to road trip snacks/water inside the car as that's about the only thing it seems good for (or bait.)

I bought two of these about 2 years ago for the same price. We have other coolers, but this is a nice size for a day trip. It's great that there's a location to keep napkins and eating utensils dry. I haven't tried sitting on it, though.

Not heavy at all. I have the tan color of this cooler from last sale. It's the perfect size for a 12 pack of cans with a 2lb pelican ice block on the bottom, and 2x 1lb ice blocks in the basket. Sort of sandwiching the cans in the middle, if you will. Keeps 'em cold for a few days that way. And the compartment on top fits several coozies and a phone/keys. Great little cooler for day trips.

Got this a year ago for same price, just used it on a cross country road trip over Thanksgiving and was surprised most of the ice was gone within 48 hours...only opened maybe 5 times total and I even left it open outside (40 degree) the night before with a first batch of ice in it to condition it. I didn't see any difference between this and the cheap little coleman I usually use but maybe YMMV...it's a cool enough cooler but really doesn't seal up that well in my experience.
