Just bought one last night for $70 or so. Personally, not worth it to install an app to get another $14 at this point, but this is a great price if the hassle is minimal for you
makes sense everywhere else, but on SD, its considered blasphemous to not go to whatever lengths needed to get the lowest price! :-)

Project Farm did a review of this, so I decided to buy it. I'm not sure what happened to it, so I decided to buy a second one. It was great, because I would hook this up to my 65 watt charger and could charge my devices at full rate. Great if you have cameras and a drone.

I've debated getting one of these for a while. But how are people really using them? Phone batteries last all day (and there are smaller options if you're looking for extra juice). Modern laptops easily last 4+ hours (iPads even longer)--and any travel that requires a flight longer than that definitely has AC plugs available.

Are people away from AC power for that long when traveling or what use case am I missing? (Maybe I need to do some backpacking?)
I haven't been backpacking in several years, but I day hike 150+ miles per month and that's exactly what I use it for.

Was thinking about it at $69. Now that I missed it at $54 no thanks for sure.

I have exact same questions! Just reading yours made my day!!!
These are useful when you are traveling and tired and you have to look for a plug that is somewhere under a table and then you have to make sure you charging cable is long enough… You just take this thing out and it charges faster than most fast chargers. The convenience is great. Plus you never know when power goes out, this will help with getting by at least a day.

Arrived last night. Surprisingly it has a 0% charge so it's on the charger now.
