What's positively insane is that I bought this exact model at close to this price (plus as I recall about 16% cashback from one of those cashback sites) on last year's 2023 Cyber Monday deal.
These should have gotten cheaper being a 2023 product, and instead they've gotten more expensive. Tariffs? Who knows. It's a great ultrabook, but you'd think it would be less by now.
I am using some 5-6 years old Thinkpad X1 carbon still going great except the battery getting crapped out.
Anyway, I still can't believe Lenovo is charging a premium price. The look and feel in 2024 are still the same, and the specs are almost the same. Plus, the biggest gripe is the resolution: 1080p. Seriously, for this price point, the resolution should be 3K and an OLED display.
