Perfectly fine to use indoors in a garage or barn. I have the Milwaukee version of this and it works great. Propane gives off CO2, as long as you open a door from time to time to let fresh air replenish oxygen in the room you're golden. CO in any concentration will kill you

Does the flame burn blue? Then indeed it may be safe to burn inside house just like my propane boiler.
