Not a terrible price though.
16 is necessary no questions anything below that is trash would pay 100 more for the 16 version instead of available tell them to all resolder the extra 8 GB and they get instant profit except 90% of them have no skills or eq to do it all of them are useless salesmen with no tech exp

especially if they soldered if they are at least not soldered then we can consider 300 windows and if gaming computer quality maybe 500-600 depends on battery and gpu in my budget you think inflation will spike prices this much yeah go ask car dealers how fast they selling cars now after they put in inflation pricing. and housing market prices spike more but they cant sell for shit because you know what they using them to borrow money from instead. we all know this is true. especially if they are own by corporations and hf banks we know and as they keep rents high and vacant to keep the perceived fake value up
apple computers are elevated because of branding mostly.
no way im paying more than 500 for 8gb of ram.
the only reason why i want to even cosider apple would be the case and battery life. not the soldered ram.
the display crack screen problem is a huge issue as well common design issue which apple needs to be sued for.
friend left a small item inside the laptop and accidently closed it and it cracked the screen then the whole thing needed to be thrown out because it was 600-700 replacement.
basically a new computer. display fix of this shouldnt cost this much in the first place the screen itself if it was normalized would be at most 100-200 dollars. especially since we know where they manufacturing it from just get the parts.
but they did make contracts with local companies to not sell to anyone else thats the only reason because apple does not manufacture anything themselves they outsource it after design of course. I do not mind buying a knock off with same design. yeah I couldn't care less about their brand. especially when they made everything horrible for the environment with planned obsolescence and encouraged everyone to do it as well. no reason to have soldered ram or SSD.
