Aside from the low weight rating (300 lbs is really low), this is a 1" bar, so please be careful you know what you are buying. It will no work with olympic plates which require 2" sleeves. But if you insist on buying it, good look finding plates.

Got this on the last deal. It is definitely longer than I thought. It feels like it's more than 20 lbs. for sure.

There are adapters out there that you can bolt on with multi hex key connections. There are also inserts for 2in Olympic to 1". The steel ones are the best I'd personally avoid 3d printed ones.

Heads up on this. Last time it was $11.99 and I ordered 10 of them. I have 6 of them and UPS seems to have 2 in never never land.

I called Walmart and told them I ordered these about 12-20 or something and they offered a refund. I said no.

They finally said they'll send me a similar one. IDK what I'll be getting, but it looks like maybe 2 more and then whatever replacement.

I'm pissed that I didn't order more because I was waiting for the not shipped, or lost ones. At the same time, I ordered more than I needed just in case.

Too bad they didn't have the same deal on the EZ curl bars and maybe a great deal on plates.

At least I know I have 6 of these in hand, we'll see how Walmart deals with this.

300lbs is standard for this type of bar. Don't confuse this with a 2" Olympic bar with 2" collars. This 1" bar is for a different type of plate entirely and the max sized 1" plate (typically) is 25lbs so you wont be slapping on 45lb olympic plates doing dead lifts with this.

I bought this bar a while back. It starts bending at around 230lbs. I doubt it would make it to 300.
