I am curious why would we NOT get a Qled and why would anyone buy just an LED TV. Does my question makes sence?
I can buy a Qled by Hisense from costco for similar price. So is that not a better more modern technology?

I am all ready to be advised as I struggle what technology to buy?
TIA.

I didn't do a lot of research, and I was replacing a very old basement plasma tv that had nothing wrong with it besides being old and incapable of mirroring an iPad for my daughter to practice.

I went with a Hisense from Costco because I read that people were very happy with them, because it was going to be a huge upgrade to us for a barely used basement tv, and it had better specs than more of the main brands. I boxed it back up within a couple of hours because it was so glitchy laggy and slow. Not sure if there's any way I could've been doing anything wrong. I even took the tv to another location in the house to make sure it wasn't a wifi reception issue.

After that experience I won't try a Hisense again regardless of how much better the specs are / better value it seems to be.

The OS's on almost all TV's are horrific and underpowered. It's why most people opt for separates - Roku, AppleTV, Amazon Fire stick et al.

They are all infinitely better than using the built in interface.
