ariens aint what it used to be, chinese engines in all blowers now, might as well get the cheapest option. if u want a deal the powersmarts were on sale last spring for $300. (https://slickdeals.net/f/17323914-powersmart-pssw24-24-in-212cc-2-stage-electric-start-gas-snow-blower-298?src=SiteSearch)
if u need a blower (you dont) id wait till then and work the shovel.

solid deal for ariens though, couple years back we bought the "deluxe" version (no different, same electric start, 220cc, 24" auger) for $1800 from ACE., the helpful ripoff place.

Fantastic price on a great machine. I own the 28 Deluxe SHO. I would have happily settled for a lesser machine at this price.

They were this price up until about 8 or 9 years ago. They started climbing before inflation hit. Surprised to see it so low.

I have that powersmart. Solid runner and throws farther than any other blower I have run. However, I do wonder about availability of parts when that time comes.

Snowblower sale and maintenance has been down lately in my state due to lack of snow. Price is likely to go down steeper if you're in no rush. Probably at the end of the season.

Probably due to poor sales lately.. a lot of places that typically get loads of snow haven't been getting loads of snow lately.

You do realize almost ALL snowblower engines from ALL manufacturers are manufactured in China, Thailand or Vietnam.

Not necessarily OOS -

Went out of stock - but then came back in stock now by me (2 in store; 4 for delivery).

Supposedly on sale until the end of the month too; so restocking may occur multiple times throughout the month.
