Specs that stood out to me. Rest seems standard. Potential buyers should check reviews about the on board software and the color reproduction software used. Check to see if any bloatware affects response time or other aspects you value in the tv.

Pricewise, pretty solid for 65 inch. Likely an early stab at getting buyers planning for Superbowl and early March Madness fans that had funds leftover after the holidays.

Side notes:
1) $60 GC makes it almost a no brainer for those looking for this size.
2) I recently set up a 75 inch TCL by myself. Very difficult. At 65 inches, if you have some strength, it should be far easier.
3) Look at the listed width of the stand legs if you do not plan to wall mount. The legs of my 75in barely fit. So depending on your tv stand you may run into problems. (Aka, need a new tv stand like me)

You could have just bought spare legs that mount on the mount screws. Simple! 20 dollars solution vs buying a whole furniture console.

I feel like the a7 was MIA during black friday/holidays. Maybe wouldn't be discounted now if they had discounted before.

Was replying to someones post, guess mods deleted comment

Still went with the TCL Q5 QLED for 369.99 at Best buy....now if was the Hisense QD5 that was discounted I would have a different narrative. But thanks for the heads up regardless OP 👍

This seems like a nice tv for the price. If a longer warranty is of importance, would suggest the 65" Vizio at Sam's for $328. It comes with 3 year warranty plus 6 months of Starz and 3 months of Apple service. I have a 10 year old Vizio that still works great.

One thing I found out yesterday is that they advertise as motion rate but then when you read the specs and look closer, its refresh rate is half that. I thought I was getting 120hz refresh rate and then saw it only says 60hz. I didn't realize there was a "motion rate" and a "refresh rate". From what I read the refresh rate is most important

If you are a gamer try to get a TV that at least has native 120hz. It's worth the extra money.
