So how do you protect yourself in the middle of nowhere? Statistics says bring a satellite communication device. I know of no study that has concluded a gun makes you safer. It's all folk wisdom based on ego, fear, and bs (or simply wildly unlikely, like once in 100k lifetimes) hypotheticals.
Bring on the downvotes.
These are just batteries with a capacity of 20.48khr battery (4 x batteries). You will still need an inverter to convert those batttery power for usable home use. Batteries are DC powered while our home/grid are AC with our appliances running AC at 120V or 240v @ 50/60hz. A hybrid inverter with a 12kw and 240V output (EG4 18K, cost = $4k) or similar is required if you want to use the batteries for hime use.
This is a more a DYI solution where you can save a lot of money compared to an integrated system like the Tesla PowerWall. Each have their own benefits.
Integrated System (Tesla PowerWall, Canadian Solar EP Cube, Enphase IQ, Generac, and others) without becoming a forum discussion are:
- The benefits are it is a complete system with plug and play install units. It takes out the guess work out of the equation. They are usually installed by an installer and offers a warranty.
- The con is they can get really expensive fast when compared to DYI units; typically more than double to quadruple in a lot of cases. Since it is a system, interchangeability isn't possible. You will have to rely on the manufactuer for repair and parts.

This is much less of a turn key solution. This is definitely in the DIY realm.

When you buy Tesla power wall, installation is included and usually grid-tied solution.
This is just the battery. Doing a off-grid solution is simpler with a few hook ups but you need to buy other materials besides battery. Grid-tied solution will be much harder.

No, these are 100Ah for each unit, and 51.2V at full charge.
100Ah * 51.2V * 4 units = 20.48kWh
