Great price for a 4070 gaming laptop, and the 4070 should be able to run games at the native 1080p resolution maxed out for some time.
The screen is 300nits, 100% sRGB, with Advanced Optimus; adequate for a budget laptop, though at a response time of 23-42ms, it's not suited for competitive gaming. If you want to do competitive gaming, plug in a monitor.
There's no USB 4 or Thunderbolt.

Just note, this is the 7435HS model. The 3 in 7435HS stands for zen 3+, which released in 2022. This chip is already 2 generations behind, it's still an amazing chip and holds up but something to note. There's also no iGPU so no MUX and no Adv Optimus. Everything runs on the 4070. I don't have this exact model but I have the slim 5 with the same specs but a larger battery. Both models perform excellent, the slim 5 gets 110fps on FH5 with 1600p Ultra. Battery life is pretty bad on that model with everything turned down is max 4 hours on windows (I got closer to 5 on Manjaro). That's all you get and it's probably worse on the LOQ. I recommend the slim 5 from microcenter which has faster WiFi, better build quality, 1600p 16:10 165hz display, and double the storage for $130 more. If you care about working away from an outlet for more than 3 hours, get a model with a 7840HS, 8845HS/8840HS, or the new HX 300 chips.
