Best review to accurately describe this.
They gave it 3 out of 5.

"Not a real sextant
Not what I expected. This is a miniature version that's described on its package as a 'decorative' nautical tool. Perhaps I missed it but I don't think that was the description on Harbor Freight's website. It may well work but it's roughly half the size of a regular sextant. It is brass colored and may well be solid brass. It is excellent, albeit smaller decor. But if you're looking for a real sextant, this is probably not the best choice. In the other hand, it is quite inexpensive (which is why I'm uncertain if it's solid bras as well). If you've got a kid who wants to practice celestial navigation, this would work great for them. Not sure where they'd end up but it's the journey, not the destination, right? 😉"
