CVS 1/26/25 – 2/8/25 Deals

They are NLA but the Eucerin, Aquaphor and Nivea printables with expiration date of 2/1 are now scanning.

Did anyone get their inserts early? Did you try the new Covergirl coupons at CVS? Did they scan for the eyebrow pencils? Thanks.

I got the new inserts today in the free weekly newspapers, but I've been inundated at work, haven't had a chance to test them. I hope to get to CVS tomorrow. Will post when I do, unless someone beats me to it.

Great news. I used the Covergirl eye coupons for eye brow pencils this morning and they worked. I guess Covergirl is back to being a MM unless CVS gets stupid again.

Awesome, thanks for posting! Remember last time we had CG insert q's they worked and then later they didn't. Hopefully they still work next week.

Also, thanks for posting General Mills peelie found on Chex (coupon finds thread).
I found them at Kroger.
Used them to buy Cheerios at CVS and they scanned fine.

1st transaction:
2 x covergirl twin blow pencil ($4.99 x 2)
- $2 IP
- $2 DQ
- $4 weekly
- $2 ECB
Got $5 ECB

2nd transaction:
Cheerios 12 oz x 2 ($2.49 x 2)
Carefree liner 42 ct x 2 ($4.49 and $2.24, buy one get one 50% off)
- $1 General Mills peelie x 2
- $3 DQ
- $2 DQ
- $5 ECB (reduced to $4.71)
Got $3 ECB (for buying 2 carefree)

3rd transaction:
Cheerios 12 oz x 2 ($2.49 x 2)
- $1/2 General Mills DQ x 2
- $3 ECB
Got $3 (food get $3 wyb $10)

Got $1 ibotta for buying 2 General Mills cereal.
Will submit 2nd receipt if cereal ibotta reset.

I have the $3 CG insert q's and got 15/75 threshold emails for all cards. I'm hesitant to buy CG as part of my $75 because I'm afraid the $4 CG crt will reduce. I pay all or nearly all my OOP with EBs. Does anyone have any experience with this for this week?

What is the price of your Covergirl? I have found that if you use self checkout and the CRT plus coupons are more than the item the CRT will not apply at all. I have always done these transactions at a manned register and the cashier must apply the CRT on the screen. It happened awhile ago but I assumed that the CRT would apply automatically and it didn't. I made sure in my next transaction that the cashier applied the CRT at her screen and it adjusted down correctly.

2 Covergirl $10.98 - $4 crt - $3 mq - $3 mq
2 Clairol $15.98 - $6 mq - $6 dq
2 Biotene $10.58 - $2 mq - $2 ip
2 Scott $19.98
1 Nivea Men Bodywash $5.99 - $2 dq
1 Nivea Lotion $6.99 - $2 dq
1 Febreze $3.99 - $2.30 dq

Total: $74.89 - $15/$75 - $32.30 = $27.59, used $28 EB, last EB reduced by .41 to make my balance $0 but the Covergirl crt and mq came off in full.

I did three different transacations all with a 15/75 and all contained Covergirl except I had the $2/1 IP only and the covergirl did not reduce. You'd have to do the math but I think the MQs reduce the value of the Covergirl low enough compared to other items that there is enough left for the full $4 to apply.

Thank you. I was afraid the 15/75 would prorate. The crt is more likely to reduce down if you have the 3/1's, assuming it does prorate.

My CG total is 11.18 so 1.18 after 4 crt and 6 in mqs. If the 15/75 prorates the crt will definitely reduce down. Maybe this particular 15/75 isn't prorating, which would be awesome, of course!
