Consumer Reports gives it 80/100 with excellent function/performance scores stating "This model had No performance flaws Noted." It's only brought down by expected reliability and satisfaction (likely due to a few bad years of Samsung appliances). It's definitely worth buying at this price IMHO.
If you register, you'll get a free extra year warranty too.
Induction ranges are efficient and cook rapidly. I recommend that people watch youtube videos that demonstrate induction cooking.
If I cooked more often than I do, I'd buy this range.
I used to sell appliances and Samsung wasn't my favorite brand. But this is a good price for a slide-in Induction.

If you don't have pots and pans that are made from a ferrous metal (Magnet will stick to it) you will need to purchase those. Copper, aluminum will NOT cook on this top.
It's only $100 more at costco
https://www.costco.com/samsung-6....less+steel

Buying from costco includes 2-year warranty, free delivery, installation, haul away of old appliance.

Could well be worth the $100 difference for many.

If it's anything like my Samsung OLED they'll just deem it unrepairable and you'll get your money back, after a lot of back and forth and then you've just gotta hope you can find something in the same price range after that happens.

FWIW its only 799.99 at NFM.com for NE63T8711SS this is NE63T8911SS so maybe worth the extra 200 bucks?
That's just a regular electric stove, not inductive - and it's $100 less at Best Buy. The MSRP is $1249, vs $3105 for this model.
It's a no-brainer to upgrade to the NE63T8911SS cuz it's the best range deal in months and a much better technology

Is it Induction charging? Does it need 220 volts or 110 volts?

Is it an older model? What is the reason for the deep discount?

It's induction cooking. Definitely uses 240V like other electric ranges.

Yeah, they start off great and then just farking start dying. Constant issues with burners getting "stuck" on high and inconsistent heating

I doubt you'll be able to find a 110v full size range. They are all going to be 220
