Pull out the small wire circular clip inside and then it will be just the magnet that holds the bits in.

Reviews show the retention clip is so tight that you need pliers to pull the bit out.

If it's like other bit holders (especially those operating at an angle, where the pressure on the bit is uneven), the bit will routinely 'fall off' the magnet and stick in the screw -- not a good idea
