Why do you need Dirac with 2 channel audio?
uhm watch reviews on YouTube and see for yourself(?)
dirac on my lx805 rolls off the top end with klipsch speakers, it made a notable difference, how well does ypao handle it.
It's room correction generally so it works with 2.0 and 2.1 audio quite well.

The LX805 does not include Dirac's sub room correction, it is a purchase option for $300.it can w
YPAO does include its own sub calibration, it can work well.

this has hdmi, spotify connect, and basically every imaginable input. of course, i'm using an old phone + usb + plexamp, nearly defeating the point ... it's all about that hdmi port for me.
(i don't miss surround sound at all)

Scroll down for the stereo RCS.
Not sure why you thought stereo listening cannot benefit from room correction.

I would add that the product has to have option for Dirac.
Yamaha is a good example, they do not currently offer Dirac.
The ones that include Dirac(ie Onkyo/Pioneer/Integra) often include the full bandwidth version.
Bass control is rarely included, an additional purchase and not every product gets the option.
BTW I'm with you on no need for room correction with two channel listening.
I prefer it in direct & without a sub. My fronts are very capable, adding a sub does little if at all.

There are holiday specials typically as well towards year end
Its worth mentioning that Denon/Marantz products do not come with an appropriate calibration mic...so that could be another expense
i recently redid my AV setup, had a NAD C658 preamp that was dormant and reused it as my main Home Theater setup (bought the HDMI addon). I had the Yamaha RX-A780 used only as a video processor/decoder so I can get Dolby/TrueHD support, connected it via HDMI OUT to the HDMI 1 port on the C658, connected NVIDIA Shield Pro to HDMI 1 port on the RX-A780, and had a external amp I connected to the C658. Its a 2.1 setup but I could definitely notice a difference in sound quality
