Do you have dashpass membership? I did two orders on this promo - both delivered with fees and a good tip was still cheaper than the menu price for pickup. Agreed they often jack up fees to make it barely worth it, but this one was actually a deal especially considering the convenience.

except the part where as the checkout page loads if you quickly click the promo code area it's so damn slow to reload that it changes to 'place order' and you have no recourse to cancel/add the promo code after their trickery

nah, it's never worth it. If you aren't using another promo, deal, or special when you go shopping or out to eat, then you are paying too much. And you can't use those through these services.

I use these promotions for big items, like storage totes from Home Depot. I haven't ordered food from these platforms in a long time because they mark up almost everything, compared to ordering in store.
