I can't tell if this is a price mistake or the wrong item was advertised. Usually the model with the SKP handheld microphone transmitter costs $250 more. I guess I'll find out when it gets shipped.

You can connect a body pack to mount a lavalier to a person or you can use the SKP plug transmitter to turn a handheld XLR microphone into a wireless one.

These are also designed to take a beating for people who are rough with their equipment. Since they operate on UHF frequencies, they can operate through walls or people more easily whereas the 2.4ghz models can cut out if the onscreen talent turns their body around and is out of line of sight to the receiver.

Compared to my old Sennheiser G3 unit, this feels cheaper. The G3's are built like a tank.
I'll have to charge it and test it out to see how I like using it.
