I highly recommend these vacuums. I believe the 12 gallon is a little quieter than the 9 gallon and it has a larger diameter hose. I bought one for my basement remodel as I was getting tired of my loud ass ShopVac. I also have a couple Ridgid vacuums that worked well but they are also quite loud. The DeWalt is remarkably quiet. Well worth the extra cost over a cheap ShopVac.
That said, it is worth noting that Instacart has a poor reputation for customer service with many users. Instacart also forces you to have an account with a $99 annual fee, charges you a "service fee" for supposedly "free" deliveries, and encourages you to tip the person making the delivery. So the "saving" you are pushing is illusory. And if you have problems with the vacuum delivered by Instacart you are on your own. You don't face any of those issues if you buy from Lowe's.
To be clear, I have nothing against Instacart (it's a legitimate company), nor tipping for delivery when it's appropriate. But it's hard to make the case that buying this vacuum from Instacart is a better approach than buying it from Lowe's. Lowe's will work with you if you have any problem, and deliver the vacuum for free.

One complaint personally is that I wish they designed it with molded tube holders instead of a pouch where the extension tube comes loose while moving the vacuum around

Promo appeared for me in app. Make sure you're logged into a new account
Also, I showed a few friends the vacuum after I bought it and I think two have gone out and bought their own.
Can hepa filters and drywall dust bags fit this?

If that's yours primary intention, go with a traditional vacuum with an agitator to help loosen dirt/debris from the carpet fibers.
