Seems like there's only one S9 left, I was about to buy it but might go with the S10 series through Samsung instead. With student discount and old ipad trade in can get an S10+ for $515 or S10 Ultra for $595.

Qualcomm SM6375 (SD695) is roughly 5-10% stronger, depending on which benchmark used.

Both are impressive to use for the tasks I have for them. For comparison, I have lumafusion, I fly efb, and Garmin pilot on both.
I downgraded from my Samsung tablet that could do all these things exceptionally well to these models to do more personal things or specific things. Both handle flight operations just well... I do use them me Media tech 99 version specifically for flying because that has the GPS and cellular chip in it. It's also smaller at 8 in. So that's my dedicated electronic flight book. I have luma fusion on both and have attempted to edit video on both. I prefer to use it Samsung tablet with aluma fusion because it's not only a bigger screen but it actually performs better. The g99 performs well it's streaming media and things like that but, compiling it is just a little bit under the Samsung. And this is usually 4K or 1080p video. Stuff I should with my GoPro or my cell phone. And both of them are not going to be power houses at editing those videos. There's some super video from some of my GoPro cameras that it will complain about.
But more so for a serviceable media tablet, both platforms are very well done. I am actually impressed. I'm so impressed I'm going to get another cheap Chinese tablet for personal use. I'm about to put a video where I am comparing electronic flight books and I'm going to be using both of these tablets in the mic with the iPad in the video, but I personally refuse to use the iPad or mainly for flight. I don't have too much of issue with ipad... But I don't use for flight at all. Four flight is specifically for the iPad so I only use software this device agnostic
