I always feel like SNL's "Debbie Downer" when a GoPro deal pops up here, but as a professional motorsports videographer and FPV drone pilot, I'd stay away from GoPro and their cameras. It's an industry-known fact that they are notoriously unreliable, and will overheat, crash, and/or otherwise fail when your most important shots are on the line. In my experience, their customer service has also been horrid.

If you're buying an action camera for a present, for a kid, or for just some fun shots, there are far better deals out there. If you're buying as a professional, semi professional, or prosumer, there are better cameras out there.

Just hopped on this too! I was a bit confused about applying the coupon since it didn't hit me with a confirmation message but the discount shows up at checkout afterwards. A little skittish that it's a refurb, but the 1 year warranty made me feel better so I hopped on board.

Good luck. The pockets rarely get a massive discount like this gopro that's almost 1/2 off less than a year later. That said, there are deals that pop up but 20% to 30% is considered good.
