Being used to the PC versions, I can't imagine I could get used to playing online multiplayer with a controller so I would have no reason to buy them again on a console except for the campaign. Do all of the Battlefield games have single player modes? I only completed the campaign on BF4.

BTW, how do people find a list of Xbox game deals each week? The only way I know which is very hit and miss is to check trueachievements.com and search for sale. If you watch the CAG Xbox thread, it's hard to find a complete sales list buried among the posts, often hidden in a spoiler or posted in pieces across multiple pages. I just want to see a single complete text list. I don't have time to browse through pages of stuff I've never heard of and DLCs each week on Xbox.com. Any tips or suggestions?

I have the same issue with Playstation sales. Sometimes you can find lists on mp1st.com, but again it's hard to find a text list of sales. The end result is I mostly skip these sales because they are too time consuming to check. I do appreciate these threads with "highlights" of the sales. I guess someone looks through the master list and decides which games are worthy of being highlighted. I don't know where the "master lists" are hidden on the Internet.

Crazy to think you can buy a triple A game for the price of a mobile app.

It's usually the other way around. That recent physical game that just went on sale for $20 because they are clearing space off the shelves will still be $60-70 via digital for a long time. You generally only get really good deals like these when games are very old.

If you wishlist games on Xbox you should receive an email/notification when that game goes on sale

Try xbdeals.net for price tracking and deal notifications.

Edit to add: There's also psdeals.net for Playstation

That would work for the few games I really want. There are lots of games I would buy if they became cheap enough, but even with a tool like camelcamelcamel for Amazon it's a lot of work to set up price alerts for every game I might want someday. I prefer to see a text list of all the games on sale sorted by price. Most games I'm not familiar with.

Thanks. I'll look at those. They probably do the camelcamelcamel thing, but it probably doesn't help with finding a text list of all games on sale sorted by price.

If you haven't played Hades, do yourself a favor and play it ASAP. One of the best games I've played in the last few years.

No, it's not just this. I have a huge physical media collection (games, movies, music) and always preferred it.

But I realized you don't need a physical copy of everything. In many cases, digital is so much easier. I can stream games from my PS5 to my Portal without having to have the disc in. I can play a game on my Xbox series x in the living room.. go into the bedroom and pick it up on my Xbox one x without ever having to carry the disc back and forth.

I moved recently and most of my games are boxed up. It's frustrating trying to dig them up in order to play them, so I rebought a few digitally. The physical ones need to be installed anyways, need to have the disc used each time, need to be updated.. it's just easier to go all digital.

The downside being that physical is usually cheaper than digital. Most digital games are full msrp while physical go on sale.
