I can only speak to my own experience. I have one of these I bought with a saw head a few years ago to saw some tree branches that were 20-25 feet high (paid much more than current pricing). It did the trick. You are correct that its reasonably weighty, and it bends some when you extend it out that far, but I'm really not sure that's avoidable on any such tool given it's purpose. Lighter weight materials might not hold up at a 30 foot extension. I can't image that it would break though, unless the user tried to extend it further than its designed to be used, and pulled off one of the telescoping segments

As far as quality is concerned, it seems pretty sturdy to me, and have had no issues. Reviews on Amazon seem to be overwhelmingly positive too. I was happy with it at the prior price, so this seems like a steal to me, which is why I posted it. Certainly the pricing history reflected on camel suggests these items have never been close to this price range.
I have the 6, 12, and 30 foot poles. I bought the 12 ft. pole and car wash brush from this 3rd party Amazon seller 2 weeks ago. I wanted the softer car wash brush to use on Leaf Guard gutters. I would never use this brush on a car. I also bought the medium bristle brush from them. If you buy the 30 ft. pole, leave about 6 inches inside each section to reduce the pressure on the pole. I also have the hard bristle brush. If you use it on the long pole, it's a bit too heavy to navigate when you extend the pole out to reach the top of a 2nd story. My 1st pole (30 footer), which I've had for years, came with a soft bristle brush which is handy for removing spider webs, etc. from the outside of my house. 2 of my poles came with dusters too. I paid full price for my 30 footer and it's been super helpful. Dang, I sound like a Doca addict!
Perfect for something you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole!

There are a number of reviews complaining about the poles bending or breaking with the 30 ft model, and some dissatisfaction with the heavy weight and the capability of the locking mechanisms. It's probably worth it at $40, but I wouldn't consider this a particularly high quality tool, especially considering the original price.

I have the shorter pole, I think 24'. I have been wanting the rake attachment but not for $40. Now it was only $10 so I grabbed it!

I believe that's one of the intended uses for these brushes (the soft bristled one in particular)

A LOT of recent reviews saying it's unstable and breaks on first use.

More Chinese direct to US consumer garbage.

If you're going to buy it follow missellie's advice below.

Only $71.99 now.

Here's the 24 feet carbon fiber pole. This is the lowest price 24 feet carbon fiber pole I can find. I will share my experiences next time. I bought lots of different poles, most sleep on rack. I finally realized that One quality pole can save money.

That's true. So I bought 30 feet Doca pole and can only use the 24 feet section. The annoying thing is I have to carry the 30 feet heavyweights.

So I ordered a carbon fiber pole.

Do you think it's heavy? I weigh 110 lbs. and carry the 30 foot pole with one hand. I use it with one hand extended 2 sections on my sloped front porch to remove leaves & limbs.

Forgot to add, these poles are aluminum.

Anyone knows the concept of leverage, wave, they know what I am saying. A long pole is a leverage, one extra pound on top of a 30 feet pole, the force can be amplified 9 to 10 times, suppose the distance between your two hands on the pole is 3 feet. If the distance is shorter than 3 feet, it could be more than 10 times.
