It's possible for there to be interference of course, though probably unlikely to the point it will cause an issue. The only interference I've experienced recently is funnily enough from a Roomba. It wasn't 2.4ghz but rather spamming IR with it's radar. My old receiver remote wouldn't work while it was running.

Obviously there's a huge price difference between the two, so $99 is a no brainer deal if you can find it. If you can stretch the budget though, then skip this $150 sub and get the RSL 10e or a used SVS

Great point and an important consideration, hence why I said $99 is still an amazing deal! I think this difference would only really matter to people who listen to bass-heavy music or movies
I'm all about bang for the buck so gimme my $99 sub
