These seem to be briefly coming back in stock every day.
Mine is like new and still has Apple warranty, until December 2025. Getting a Target near me this year so I went ahead with the debit card to get 5% off and $50 sign up bonus. Truly slick for those with available promotions.

Mine showed up today. My guess based on condition is that it's just their version of open box.

Mine game in a generic Target box, but with the charger and cable. It had 11 months of warranty left and is still eligible for Apple Care if I wanted to buy it. Battery capacity was 100% with zero charge cycles registered.

Unless you're giving it as a gift and you want the box, I see no reason not to jump on it if it restocks again.

Bought a new (not refurb or returned) Air M2 at Walmart for $399. Online price shows $499 but I went it store since it showed available and rang up $399. There's an SD post about it.
